Bagged Barks & Mulches
At Derek Fox & Sons (Timber) Ltd we have a wide range of environmentally friendly barks and mulches for your garden and landscaping projects.
Barks and mulches are widely used in landscaping projects. Used around trees, shrubs and perennial beds, they:
- help retain soil moisture
- help regulate soil temperatures
- protect the roots of your plants
- help suppress weeds by blocking out the light
Barks and mulches are soft and quiet underfoot and are great for adding colour and texture to your garden or landscape. They are ideal for recreational projects such as children's play areas. Better still, large areas can be covered quickly and easily.

All our mulches are available in bulk bags (0.8m x 0.8m x 0.8m) or in 75 litre bags. Alternatively we can supply loose quantities of your choice of mulch in 1.0 cubic metre lots on our own transport as follows:
- Pickup Load = 2 cubic metre
- Small Tipper = 5 cubic metres
- Large Tipper = 12 cubic metres
